Am looking to get a vertical mill in here, and I live in the boonies, so getting 3 phase power out here would not be an option. I know you can use a phase converter, but I have also seen some lathes where they swapped the motor to a single phase motor.
Aug 30, 2013· Then you set up motor setup #1 to not do anything and it will keep all relays open/unlatched and the motor will be setup for the slow speed range Then you setup motor setup #2 (maybe enabled by a switch?) to latch the coils and the relays will setup the motor output for the fast speed.
